First Boeing 747-400 delivered on November 7th !

Today, Cathay received its first Boeing 747-400 as an interim lift until the delivery of some new Airbus A330-300. This aircraft is wearing a special paint scheme to celebrate Hong-Kong and its situation in Asia. It will operate on our Asian network, on cities such as Mumbaï, Manilla or Shangaï.

Discover New-Zealand, fly to Auckland !

Today was the first day of code-sharing between Cathay and OrangeJet, the New-Zealand based airline, and our BlueSky partner.
From October 1st, 2008, Cathay will fly to Auckland once evry two-days using OrangeJet flight.
The flight is CX1350 / CX1351, and is operated by a A340-300.
