WingClub Tiers
The WingClub is Cathay's frequent-flyer program.
The WingClub program has 4 tiers, with different purchase conditions and advantages. The 4 tiers are :
- The Green WingClub Card, our entry tier ;
- The Silver WingClub Card, our second tier, and first élite tier ;
- The Gold WingClub Card, our third tier, and second élite tier ;
- The Platinum WingClub Card, our fourth and highest tier .

WingClub Green
The Green Tier is the entry tier.
With this card, you can :
- Start to earn miles when flying with Cathay or any of its BlueSky partners ;
- Use separate check-in counters ;
- Get personalised baggage name tags ;
- Have access to the priority boarding ;
- Use our Advance Seat Reservation service ;
- Have a dedicated access to our service center ;
- Get a priority notice of promotions and offers .
The purchase of a WingClub Green card is free, and it will be automatically renewed every year.
For every mile actually flown with Cathay, you will get the corresponding amount of SkyMiles :
- 100% of the distance if you're flying Economy Class ;
- 150% if you're flying Business Class ;
- 200% if you're flying First Class .
E.g. : If you're Flying Economy Class on HKG-JFK, you'll get 7000 SkyMiles ; 11,500 in Business Class ; 14,000 in First Class.
WingClub Gold
The Gold Tier is the second of our élite tiers.
With a WingClub Gold card, you can :
- Book a flight via our dedicated 24-hour élite Service Line ;
- Earn 60% more SkyMiles for every flight on Cathay or on a BlueSky partner ;
- Use our Advance Seat Reservation Service ;
- Get a guaranteed Business Class seat 48hrs prior to departure ;
- Use our First Class check-in counters ;
- Get 15kgs of extra luggage allowance (or 1pc) ;
- Get 10kgs of extra cabin baggage allowance ;
- Get priority baggage handling ;
- Get personalised baggage name tags ;
- Have access to The Wing as well as any other lounge worlwide, with 1 guest, prior to boarding or when arriving ;
- Have access to the priority boarding ;
- Have a dedicated acces to our service center ;
- Get a priority notice of promotions and offers .
The renewal of the WingClub Gold card is subject to restrictions : 60,000 SkyMiles or 60 flights with Cathay or any of its BlueSky partners within 12 months.
WingClub Silver
The Silver Tier is the first of our élite tiers.
With a WingClub Silver card, you can :
- Book a flight via our dedicated 24-hour élite Service Line ;
- Earn 30% more SkyMiles for every flight on Cathay or on a BlueSky partner ;
- Use our Advance Seat Reservation Service ;
- Get a guaranteed Economy Class seat 72hrs prior to departure ;
- Use our Business Class check-in counters ;
- Get 10kgs of extra luggage allowance ;
- Get 10kgs of extra cabin baggage allowance ;
- Get priority baggage handling ;
- Get personalised baggage name tags ;
- Have access to The Wing as well as any other lounge worlwide prior to boarding ;
- Have access to the priority boarding ;
- Have a dedicated acces to our service center ;
- Get a priority notice of promotions and offers .
The renewal of the WingClub Silver card is subject to restrictions : 30,000 SkyMiles or 30 flights with Cathay or any of its BlueSky partners within 12 months.
WingClub Platinum
The Platinum Tier is the third and last of our élite tiers.
As it is the highest Tier of the WingClub program, the holder of a Platinum card is assured to get the best of our services.
With a WingClub Platinum card, you can :
- Book a flight via our dedicated 24-hour élite Service Line ;
- Earn 100% more SkyMiles for every flight on Cathay or on a BlueSky partner ;
- Use our Advance Seat Reservation Service ;
- Get a guaranteed First Class seat 24hr prior to departure ;
- Use our First Class check-in counters ;
- Get 20kgs of extra luggage allowance (or 2pcs) ;
- Get 20kgs of extra cabin baggage allowance ;
- Get priority baggage handling ;
- Get personalised baggage name tags ;
- Have access to The Wing as well as any other lounge worlwide, with 2 guests, prior to boarding or when arriving;
- Have access to the priority boarding ;
- Have a dedicated acces to our service center ;
- Get a priority notice of promotions and offers .
The renewal of the WingClub Platinum card is subject to restrictions : 100,000 SkyMiles or 100 flights with Cathay or any of its BlueSky partners within 12 months.
Being the holder of a Platinum card for 5 successive years makes you a Platinum card member for the rest of your life.
